YT Industries Frame (Pivot) Bearing Kits

YT Industries was started in 2007 by Markus Flossmann because two kids literally couldn't afford decent bikes. Talk about turning a problem into a solution!
YT stands for "Young Talent" - pretty fitting for a company that started because young riders were priced out of quality bikes.
  • They only sell online (with a few showrooms);
  • They design premium bikes at non-premium prices;
  • They actually listen to riders because they ARE riders; and
  • Their marketing is proper mountain bike culture, not corporate fluff
In terms of a maintenance schedule, YT recommend:-
  • Before every ride - Check Hub Bearing Play;
  • Monthly - Check bearing play in the bottom bracket, headset, hubs, and pedals and tightening if necessary.
  • Yearly - Remove the headset, check the bearings and regrease them.

This is in addition to checking over your bike regularly to look for damage.
