Commencal detail in their User Manual that signs of play etc should be checked after each ride with a more thorough inspection being carried out yearly on Frame components.  Although, they do emphasis that this will depend on level of use, weather conditions, age of the bike etc.  Therefore, it may be prudent to assess and replace bearings based on the Industry Standard below:-

Normal Use 

Every 12 months

Heavy Use or Competitive Pursuits

Every 3 - 6 months
