BikeBiz Awards 2026: Specialist Distributor of the Year

The Grizzly Bearing Co. has won Specialist Distributor of the Year at the BikeBiz Awards 2026, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Phew. What a night. Honestly, I’m still in a state of disbelief …

There is a video of my speech that might see the light of day at some point (if I’m feeling brave), so I’m just going to sum it up here.

Thanks to all of our customers and Trade Partners, who have been nothing short of amazing.  The support we have received has been incredible and we can’t thank you all enough. A special shout-out to Ash @thesurreybikemechanic who I got to meet on the night and cheer on as he won Mechanic of the Year 2026 🙌🏻

Thank you to @extra_uk , and in particular to @alkay82 who took the time to meet with me before Grizzly was even up and running and gave me my first Trade Account. Without access to some of the best bearing brands out there like @enduro_bearings and @canecreekusa, it would have been so much harder to build Grizzly into what it is today.

Being able to use our success to support young riders who are working tirelessly to perform at their best and do what they love is one of the best parts of running Grizzly. That said, what they do for us is immeasurable. Thank you to @livshreds and @harryjb_ridesmtb for representing us so professionally across the UK and Europe. You are both an absolute dream to work with.

To my long-suffering husband, who listens to me prattle on about bearings at length and has supported me through the wobbles that running a small business brings, thank you.

And finally, thank you to BikeBiz and the Judging Panel for making the Awards happen. What a great night you put on!  Having the opportunity to meet with you all and speak to so many incredible people in the cycle trade was a dream for us.

Thank you 🙌🏻
